The Adventure

Batman Television Series (1966) – Above is an image from the "Batman" television series in 1966. Adam West who played Batman and Burt Ward who played Robin are both seated in the car. The Batmobile was actually a modified 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car.
This unique six-wheeled Nautilus car was driven by Captain Nemo (Naseeruddin Shah) in the 2003 action movie "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." Conceived by production designer and art director Carol Spier, it was one of only two ever made. The car sold for $49,000 at Coys Blenheim Palace auction in July 2015.
