NEWS..... 2016 Australian GP: Mercedes victorious, Ferrari stumbles

Melbourne - Nico Rosberg, despite being overtaken on the first lap, led a Mercedes one-two victory at a dramatic 2016 Australian GP.Ferrari had a great start to the race pulling away from Mercedes on the first lap. Sadly, the team couldn't hold onto itslead.A huge crash gave Mercedes the opportunity it needed to regainthe lead. Mercedes recoversMercedes recovered from its poor start to dominate the race. Lewis Hamilton appeared to be suffering technical issues during the early laps though he managed to finish second. Rosberg crossed the line 8.3sec ahead of team mate Hamilton. Race marshals spent 18 minutes clearing both wrecks.It all collapsed for Ferrari following the race restart. Alonso walked gingerly from the wreck, and shook hands with Gutierrez, who was clearly worried about his fellow driver's well-being.
